Welcome to Kudzu Kennels
At Kudzu Kennels, we use a balanced training method that blends food rewards, praise, and play with fair and humane corrections. Using tools such as the slip leash, prong collar, or remote e-collar helps us communicate clearly, set the right boundaries, and establish real-world obedience.

How we Train
Our Focus
Balanced training focuses heavily on teaching and rewarding good choices. Positive reinforcement is a huge part of everything we do. But we also acknowledge that dogs sometimes make choices that aren't safe, respectful, or desirable. In those moments, we use fair corrections to interrupt the behavior and help guide the dog toward the right decision
Dogs thrive when the rules are consistent, the communication is clear, and the rewards are meaningful. Ultimately, this method helps create calmer, more reliable dogs who understand expectations and feel confident in their relationship with their owner. It also empowers you, the handler, with the tools you need to effectively communicate with your dog in real-world situations, not just in a controlled training environment.

Meet the Trainer
Bobby Ryals
Bobby Ryals has been training dogs since 2015, dedicating his career to helping dogs find the balance and confidence they deserve. His passion goes beyond teaching obedience—he believes that every unwanted behavior is a form of communication. Whether a dog is anxious, fearful, reactive, or simply struggling to understand its place, Bobby's goal is to help that dog feel safe, confident, and balanced.
His training philosophy is rooted in understanding each dog's individual needs and building trust through clear communication, consistency, and fairness.
For Bobby, the greatest reward is seeing dogs gain the freedom to enjoy life while giving their families the peace of mind that comes with a balanced, well-understood companion. Every dog has the potential to thrive, and he's passionate about helping them get there. "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord..." Colossians 3:23
